Richard Shawn, News Editor for the Mid-South Globe watches the televised broadcast of a terrorist bombing at the NBA play-offs. He's struck by the oddly pertinent lyrics to a classic Sixties' rock song. This particular "oldie" seems to accurately describe events Shawn has just witnessed onscreen. Confounded by it all, Richard is driven to a search for the writer of this unusual recording. But, the more he uncovers, the more he's disturbed and influenced by the writings of this mysterious figure.

Mitch Crittingham, a subordinate of Richard Shawn launches an investigation into the suspicious behavior of one of the bombing victim's employers and all the while earthquakes are escalating in the Mid-South. These scenarios converge into a thrilling, restorative and ultimately unexpected end.

"Lost in America / Lyrics by Theo" is a noir mystery thriller.
